20+ years ago this area was the Woolworth's sporting goods section. When I was 9 or 10 years old this floor was the first place I stepped on a skateboard and pushed. A seemingly meaningless action that would have a ripple effect on the rest of my life. Over the years I have seen this building make many, many changes and never really thought about how much this structure had a part in who I am. This past week I have watched it go brick by art tattered brick. Although, I am sad to see it go I will always appreciate this place for the path it helped my find.
